THE INDEPENDENT TESTING LABORATORY

The CERT-AIRE testing laboratory has been designed and built to test fans, blowers, dampers, louvers, filters and other air movement and control products in accordance with the following standards:

AMCA STANDARD 210/AHRAE STANDARD 51: - Laboratory Methods for Testing Fans for Rating

AMCA STANDARD 500 - Test Methods for Louvers, Dampers and Shutters

AMCA STANDARD 300 - Reverberant Room Method for Sound Testing of Fans

UL STANDARD 555/555S - Leakage Rated Dampers for use in Fire and Smoke Control Systems

UL SUBJECT 762 - Outline of Proposed Investigation for Power Ventilators for Restaurant Exhaust Appliances

Maximum Test Capacities:

Airflow: 70,000 cfm Pressure: 15 in. wg. Power: 60 hp
Oven: 600 degrees F, 78 in. W x 72 in. L x 72 in. H
Maximum Heat Capacity : 18 million btu/hr

Maximum Test Sample Sizes:

Fans: 60" dia. Dampers: 72" W x 72" H
